Gut Healthy Gardening
There is one activity you can start today, from the comfort of your home that can improve IBS or IBD.
It's something you start doing alongside your existing medical treatments.
It requires little start-up costs and is more beneficial than any gym or popular exercise program.
Most people are sitting on a "gold-mine" of health growing opportunity and they don't even know it!
Whether you live in a city or the country.
Even if you only have a small apartment with one sunny window.
A little bit of gardening goes a long way.
This e-book will show you how to get started to see results FAST. You'll be amazed how your gut health will grow, even if your plants are not...
You see- the act of gardening is as important for health as the herbs or vegetables you grow.
Not only does gardening support your gut health, it also keeps your MIND young, your BODY supple, and your Spirits high.
Science is finally catching up to the generations of gardeners that had vibrant health well into old age.
A study performed by Dr. Austin showed that seniors that gardened had improved functional health, less incidence of depression, and better physical fitness than their non-gardening counterparts.
So why gardening? Aren't gyms the best place to exercise?
It seems counter-intuitive that playing in the dirt will improve your gut health. You've been told exercise and diet can help your gut issues, so you go to a gym and eat your veggies.
But most gyms are COVERED in anti-microbial disinfectants that kill off your microbiome. Most people perform the common exercises incorrectly and they don't bring the benefits you were hoping for.
You already spend too much time indoors, why keep wasting more time under artificial lights breathing sterile air?
It's time to return to Nature and let Mother-Earth take the wheel.
In fact, nothing in a gym compares to moving outside in FRESH AIR and SUNSHINE.
No matter how many miles you run on a treadmill, it pales in comparison to the results you can see from gardening.
As you age, your need for full-body strength increases.
In particular your grip, core and legs need to be strong for ageing gracefully.
All areas that are worked by typical gardening activities.
Gardening is the best type of holistic exercise. There is a little bit of strength sprinkled into a lot of low-impact movements.
But why should you trust me?
Because not only have I been in your shoes, but I'm a medical professional that uses gardening to improve the lives of others.
Back when I was ten years old I was diagnosed with Ulcerative colitis (IBD) and lactose intolerance (IBS).
I went through the typical medical treatments, NSAIDS, prednisone. Tried all types of diets with minimal results.
I was at my wits end when I was 18 and about to start college. My doctor told me "get a good job so your health insurance will cover all the meds and eventual surgery."
NOT what I wanted to hear before I left home.
His words had a big impact on me. I was sick of being told there was nothing I could do. To just lay down and accept my helpless fate.
Luckily I didn't know what to major in. I was a clean slate so I decided I would learn how to fix my gut issues myself.
We've all heard knowledge is power and I wanted to see if that was true. Could I learn how to reverse my symptoms and succeed where my doctors were failing?
Five years later with degrees in Biochemistry and Plant Biology and ZERO symptoms I say YES I CAN.
But the secret I discovered was outside the classroom. What I learned from working in greenhouses, research farms and gardens is where my health really grew.
This e-book is an introduction to my methods of reversing gut issues and maintaining complete remission.
I still love to strength train and exercise, but gardening is my foundational habit to excellent gut health.
Today I don't follow any "diet" or stress about eating out like I once used to. In fact, I'm drinking milk while I write this.
I eat what I want and continually experiment on myself, refining my methods to grow healthier each and every day.
I'm confident that gardening is the missing link to health for so many people.
